It keeps you updated and connected to whom you’re replying. The plugin provides a flyout of the commenter’s profile and recent comments that you can view in the comment stream. It also have a rating system so that everyone can rate your comments.

Re: Disqus

You might notice that commenting just got better mocospace.com here on the Whole Wheat! I should probably also say that i used 3, 19oz cans of black beans instead of dried ones (the cookbook had this as an option). I actually tried the recipe again the other day using 3 cups of stock instead of 4 and the consistency was good. If you have any other suggestions, I would love to hear them! Thanks again!

Re: Recipe: Black Bean Soup

Hi Jordan - was your soup too thick or too thin? I've actually never had a consistency problem. Let me know and I'll try to help you troubleshoot - hopefully the flavor was good! :-)

Re: Recipe: Black Bean Soup

Help! I followed this recipe exactly (I have the mesa grill book). But i could not get the thickness right? Do you have to play around with the amount of stock/water or did i just not simmer long enough? Any help would be appreciated. However - you can just make these waffles with regular whole wheat, all purpose, etc. Whatever you have on hand!! The spelt flour just adds an extra dimension and helps mix up grain intake but is certainly not required. Let me know when you make them - they are ADDICTIVE!

Re: Recipe: Molasses Waffles

Oh yum! I see spelt all the time at the market and haven't ever tried it. Guess it's about time, right? My husband makes killer banana waffles on Sundays. I wonder if he'd whip these up for us.
